Shin Ha-Ri is a single woman who works for a company. She has a guy friend that she has had a crush on for a long time. She later learns that her friend has a girlfriend so she decides to meet her friend, Jin Young Seo, to talk about it.
Jin Young Seo asks Shin Ha-Ri to take her place on a blind date and even offers her some money. Shin Ha-Ri accepts and goes on the blind date pretending to be Jin Young-Seo.
In disguise, she plans to scare away her friend’s blind date. However, things go awry and he turns out to be Kang Tae-Mu, the CEO of the company where she works.
Kang Tae-Mu is a workaholic and annoyed that his grandfather set him up on a blind date. He decides to marry the next woman he meets on a blind date so he can focus on his work. He meets Shin Ha-Ri pretending to be Jin Young-Seo on his blind date and asks her to marry him the next day.

Na Hee do is a fencing athlete. Due to an IMF crisis, her high school team was disbanded, crushing her dreams. Although there seems to be no hope she continues to keep looking into the future without looking back.
Baek Yi-Jin is the oldest in his family that is torn apart due to the IMF crisis. He works hard to become a reporter, despite his difficult background.

Jung Chan Young is an acting teacher after her dream of becoming an actress didn’t work out. Even though the way she speaks makes her seem blunt and harsh, the sincerity of her words makes her impossible to hate.
Jan Jo Hee is a department store cosmetics manager. She hasn’t experienced any romantic relationships due to her timid personality.
