Fashion Spotlight – Isabel Dalsimer
Q. Who/what is your greatest fashion inspiration?
A. My biggest inspiration is definitely Tik Tok and Pinterest. I don’t have a certain person I look to for ideas because I feel like I take different aspects from different styles, so I love that with Tik Tok, I can see a bunch of different inspiration ideas.
Q. Where do you get most of your clothes from? Favorite store?
A. I mainly thrift my clothes or they’re hand-me-downs from what my mom used to wear and has kept since high school/college. I do have a lot of clothes from Shein but I’ve tried to stop ordering from there & other fast fashion shops.
Q. How would you describe your sense of fashion? Has it changed over time?
A. My fashion style is definitely a mix of a bunch of stuff but I think I’d describe it as artsy, hippie & granola girl mainly. It’s definitely changed a lot over time. I used to wear a lot of sweatshirts, sweatpants, leggings, boring colors, etc and now I’ve kind of transitioned to earth tones, a lot of crop tops, and whatever I find cute that makes me feel confident.
Q. What is your favorite part of your outfits (accessories, hair, pants, etc)?
A. I think my favorite part about my outfits, besides just the process of putting them together, are the accessories. You can switch them up all the time and it adds so much to a look. Jewelry, hats and bags can really change your appearance and I think that’s so cool.
