My favorite movies are Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Princess Bride, and Beauty and the Beast. My top favorite books are Fahrenheit 451, King Lear, and The Time Traveler’s Wife. My favorite shows are Parks and Recreation and Gilmore Girls.

I ran around after my toddler.

What are you passionate about outside of school?
I love cooking (and eating). Most of the pictures on my Instagram are of food. I wish I had more time to cook, but luckily my husband is also a great cook.

What are some fun facts about you?
I was part of the first graduating class of IB Diploma Candidates in my high school. I also know how to ride a motorcycle.

Why did you decide to start teaching?
Teaching was always one of my top choices because I liked helping people. I chose high school English because I wanted the intellectual stimulation of discussing literature with students.

What’s your favorite thing about being a teacher?
I like it when students come into my course with an open mind and grow as a result.
