The Jonas Brothers have made a highly anticipated comeback with their new single, “Sucker,” and people are here for it. The Jonas Brothers, comprised of Nick Jonas (26), Joe Jonas (29) and Kevin Jonas (31), released their first new track, “Sucker,” in nearly seven years on March 1st. The pop group confirmed their return the day before they released their new single. The highly anticipated music video also featured the trios’ significant others: Nick Jonas’s wife, Priyanka Chopra (married late last year), Joe Jonas’s fianceé, Sophie Turner (engaged since Oct. 2017), and Kevin Jonas’s wife, Danielle Jonas (married since 2009).

In this pop song, they sing about how they’re head-over-heels in their relationships. The brothers seem to be in the Hatfield House, Queen Elizabeth I’s childhood home, in the music video. The trio group and their wives and fianceé wear various wild outfits in the luxurious visuals. Their partners, Danielle, Chopra, and Turner, frisk around in the mansion as the brothers sing about being “suckers” for their love. Their new single, “Sucker,” shows exactly how all three of them have grown since their teen idol days.

Following the release of the new fast-paced pop song, the brothers will begin a week-long takeover of “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” where they will talk about their reunion, take part in a few sketches, and perform “Sucker” on TV for the first time ever. As of March 7th, they released a new “Carpool Karaoke” segment on YouTube. On the show, it was revealed that Nick Jonas was actually the one who broke up the band in the first place.

“It’s nice to be able to finally tell somebody,” Nick Jonas says on Carpool Karaoke, “We’ve kept this a secret now for almost seven, eight months. This is basically our first performance back.”

The group initially had gotten a lot of fame and attention thanks to being in a few Disney Channel originals- working with Miley Cyrus for her Hannah Montana world tour, starring in their own series Jonas, and starring in Camp Rock (2008) and its 2010 sequel alongside Demi Lovato. The Jonas Brothers had previously released four full-length albums in the early 2000s: “It’s About Time” (2006), “Jonas Brothers” (2007), “A Little Bit Longer” (2008), and “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” (2009).

“As a kid, I really enjoyed watching them on various Disney Channel shows and movies,” said sophomore Iris Tran. “With this song and music video, I can tell that they have significantly changed since their ‘Disney’ years, and their music has really matured.”

The Jonas Brothers had last released a single in 2013, “First Time,” right before their split. In 2013, the brothers officially disbanded right before they were about to release their fifth LP. Within a couple of years, Nick Jonas released a hit single called “Jealous,” and Joe Jonas joined the pop group DNCE to make the hit song “Cake by the Ocean.” Kevin Jonas, however, was more focused on his real estate development and construction business during their break. However, it was kind of a given that the brothers would inevitably get back together.

The Jonas Brothers have confirmed that they are officially reuniting to make new music. In addition to making new music, the Jonas Brothers are also working on a documentary about their musical journey.
