Start off the new year with this breakfast idea
Smoothies are a great way to have a quick tasty meal. They are easy to personalize and are great for those who have to be on the go.
You will need:
-1/2 a cup of frozen mixed berries. The best ones to use are raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries.
-One cup of ice
-1/2 of any berry flavored yogurt
-One cup of orange juice
-Blender
Directions:
1. Set up the blender and add one cup of orange juice. You can use any kind.
2. Add 1/2 of yogurt. The yogurt can be any flavor, but it may taste more appealing if you use a yogurt that is already berry flavored.
3. Add 1/2 of the frozen berries.
4. Blend until you reach your desired consistency.
5. Pour into a glass and serve.
Fact: Raspberries are good for your digestive system because it has a great amount of fiber. They also contain vitamin K which can help prevent type two diabetes.
