DIY glow-in-the-dark patio jars
Light up summer nights with these inexpensive DIY glow-in-the-dark patio jars.
Materials:
- glass jars
- glow-in-the-dark paint
- paint brush
- paper plate, paint pallett, or other surface
- light source
Instructions:
- Collect your materials. Smaller glass jars work better as patio lights for this project.
- Squirt your paint onto your paper plate or surface and paint the insides of your glass jars.
- Let the paint dry. Your glass jars should now look like this.
- For a brighter light and interesting effect, add a second layer by squirting a glob of paint directly into the bottom of the jar, then turn it upside down and let the paint drip down the sides. Let dry.
- Let your dried jars sit directly under a light source for a little while so the paint has time to “charge.” You can now enjoy the glow-in-the-dark effects!
