The University of Richmond is located in a city filled with historical background. It is a private school that is not very large compared to other colleges, but this college manages to merge many interests like arts and business. The campus is 350 acres and 91percent of students live on the campus. This university is moderately selective. The classroom sizes do not exceed 50 students and the student to faculty ratio is 9:1. More than half (66.7 percent) of the classes have 20 students or less. 54.1 percent of females make up the student body. There are 45.9 percent of males in the University of Richmond. Like many universities, it offers a women’s center, tutoring and health services. There are over 250 clubs and organizations that students can choose from. The University of Richmond has 24 hour patrols, and offers late night escorts. Financial aid is provided to those students who are selected.

Berta is currently a senior. She has been on The A-Blast since her freshmen year and was first an Academics Editor during sophomore year and then became the Health Editor during her junior year. She is also active after school and likes to do community service through Key Club and National Honor Society. She is also in National English Honor Society. Berta hopes to study Business Management once she graduates and hopefully own her own small business in several years. Her other interests include playing the guitar, listening to music (The Beatles), writing and doing whatever she feels like.
