After a night of celebrating AHS’ diversity and culture with the community, the Heritage Night cast celebrated their successful show with each other in a fun-filled after-school party.
“The cast really deserved it after all the effort they put into their routines and should all be very proud of their achievements,” said Heritage Night director Georgi Tomisato. According to Tomisato, about 630 Heritage Night tickets were sold, which was only a couple tickets under the maximum capacity of the AHS auditorium.
The following Monday after Heritage Night, Clausen Hall was decorated with boxes of appetizing pizzas and plates of scrumptious goodies for the cast. “We all worked very hard to put on a show on Thursday [Heritage Night] and it is great to celebrate over pizza,” said AHS senior Eunice Addai.
Junior Martha Suppey said, “The whole cast is like family to me and it makes me very happy to celebrate with them after a successful night.”
Overall, Heritage Night was a success and the cast proved to be satisfied with the outcome of the event through the dinner party. Hopefully, students will continue to enjoy the cultural diversity at AHS and its’ annually held Heritage Night.
