The Stone serves freshly made tofu and more
The Stone Tofu House serves quality Korean food that many would say is authentic. In the back of the restaurant, they have a tofu factory where tofu is made fresh daily. The service was extraordinary considering that they brought my food in only ten minutes. They serve soups, fried delights, seafood, grilled meats, but also serve a variety of vegan meals. During my visit, I ordered the kimchi tofu platter.
The price for the kimchi tofu platter was around 25 dollars, which is a little pricey. Overall, the meal was unique and delicious. Although tofu is bland, the kimchi that comes with the dish adds a spicy kick that complements its texture. The restaurant had a clean marble table and followed the guidelines outlined on the website.
If you are familiar with Korean BBQ, I can guarantee that you will love the food that they serve at the Stone Tofu House. You can reserve your table on their website for free if you would like to dine in, which I highly recommend considering the precautions they have in place for COVID-19. If you are still not comfortable dining in they still have accessible carry out options. You can order on the phone where they will provide you with a waiting time.
Overall, the Stone Tofu House is definitely worth the price and the visit. I would give this restaurant a 4 out of 5 based on the food, service, and the restaurant’s style. They are located in Annandale Virginia on Markham Street. Their hours are from 11 a.m. through 10 p.m. all days of the week. The menu and any other details can be found here.
