The Capital Wheel coming to National Harbor

The new 176 foot ferris wheel overlooking the Potomac at National Harbor is set to debut this May. The Capital Wheel overlooks some of D.C’s most signature landmarks including The White House, Arlington Cemetery, and The National Mall.

The wheel will operate year round and features 42 closed gondolas each seating eight people. Tickets to ride the Capital Wheel will be $15 per person and the wheel will operate from 10 a.m. To 10 p.m.

Whether you are looking for a fun day with your friends and family or a romantic date, the Capital Wheel is the perfect place to make new memories in our nation’s capital. We highly recommend you go on the wheel at night when it is lit up for a more romantic atmosphere.

The gondolas will be open for private rental and will be catered by Wolfgang Puck catering. If you want to eat at the harbor before hand there are a myriad of delicious restaurants including McCormick & Schmick’s, Elevation Burger, Thai Pavilion, and The Tasting Room.

Spend a beautiful spring day filled with shopping, dining, and relaxation at National Harbor. Visit the national harbor official website for more details.
