After-school snack: Tuna and vegetable wrap
This after school snack will provide you enough nutrients keep you awake.
You will need:
-One can of tuna
– Two leaves of lettuce/ or tortilla wrap
-Celery
-One carrot
-1/4 stalk of broccoli
-Two teaspoons of olive oil
-Bowl
-Spoon
-Knife
-Cutting board
Directions:
1. Wash the carrot, broccoli and celery.
2. Chop the carrot, broccoli and celery into small pieces.
3. With the bowl, put in the tuna and all the vegetables inside. Add the olive oil.
4. Wash the lettuce and lay them out on a plate or lay out the tortilla wrap.
5. Spread the tuna mix on top of the lettuce.
Fact: Eating tuna can help your immune system because it contains selenium which helps fight off viruses and infections.
