Tasty side dish to make tonight
This side dish is great to add more to a meal, while increasing your intake on vitamins.
You will need:
-Four carrots, or one pound
-Two teaspoons of butter (unsalted)
-1/2 teaspoon of salt
-1/3 of a cup of orange juice
-1/4 of a cup of maple syrup
-Cinnamon
-Saute pan
-Knife
Directions:
1. Wash and peel the carrots and slice them in mouth sized pieces
2. Heat up the pan into a medium heat and add the butter. Wait for it to melt.
3. Once the butter is melted, add the washed and sliced carrots. Make sure to mix occasionally.
4. Leave it for around three minutes. Add the maple syrup on top. Cover for around three or four minutes.
5. The liquids should absorb as you mix.
6. Turn off the heat and sprinkle cinnamon on top and give it a few more stirs.
7. Serve.
