Fall snack: Pumpkin seeds
A great snack to make to get into the fall season is pumpkin seeds. They do not require too much effort and and is a perfect snack for people to eat when you have a party.
You will need:
-Two cups of pumpkin seeds
-Cinnamon or salt
-Cooking oil or olive oil
-An oven
-Baking tray
Directions:
-Preheat the oven to 325 F
-While the oven preheats, rinse the pumpkin seeds if you scraped them from a pumpkin.
-Once you have washed the seeds, dry them with a paper towel and set them on a cooking tray that has been lightly sprayed with cooking oil or olive oil.
-Sprinkle either a little salt or cinnamon depending on the kind of treat you want.
-Put in the oven and leave for 7-10 minutes.
-Be careful while taking it out.
-Add an extra spices if you want.
Fact: Pumpkin seeds have many different vitamins and minerals such as manganese and tryptophan. Tryptophan is used to help to better your mood and can help you sleep better.
