Five relaxing yoga positions
Yoga is a great way to learn how to relieve any pains or anxieties. When done everyday you can learn how remain calm.
1. Mountain pose
This a simple pose that can be done without a mat. Stand up straight and control your breathing. Place your arm straight up into the sky or you can keep them beside your body.
2. Hands under feet pose
To do this pose you have to be able to touch your feet. Stand straight then bend over until you touch the ground. Place you hands under your feet. If you cannot reach all the way, do not push yourself to hard or you can strain a muscle.
3. Staff pose
This pose will help enhance posture. You can do this against a wall if you need a little support for your back. Sit down with your legs straight in front of you and place your arms beside your body to hold yourself up.
4. Cow pose
This is similar to the cat pose and get be interchanged with it. Get on all fours and hold you head up to look right in front of you. Your back does not have to be arched.
5. Fire log pose
This is a simple pose that can help relieve stress and anxiety. Sit on a mat and roll your shoulders back. Have one leg in a 90 degree angle and put the other leg on top of it so each ankle touches a knee.
