How to prepare for any project
Oral presentation: Write up all the information you want to speak about in a way that flows nicely. Practice reading out loud to yourself or to someone else, and fix any mistakes you find early on so that they don’t end up in the final presentation.
Timed essay: Be sure to have a clear idea of essay structure, so that you can make an outline that won’t take up too much time. You probably won’t have much time to think about the essay as you are writing it, which is why you need to practice writing continuously even if you get stuck somewhere.
Multiple choice or short answer test: Review any notes or resources you have access to, focusing on content that you cannot easily remember. Some questions are on topics that are not so memorable or important, but you should be able to recognize what you have or haven’t learned about in class.
Math or science test: Most math or science tests rely on your understanding of formulas and how to apply them. You must keep in mind what the question is asking, what information the question offers, and how many steps it will take to reach the answer.
