There are a few opportunities for students to check out prospective colleges in the area. A very recent one was the FCPS College Fair, that took place on the 20th of October, representing over 300 colleges and universities across the nation. Be on the lookout for some upcoming fairs and college visits to AHS. Below are a few:

Hayfield Secondary School College Night – Over 300 universities represented, and 10 workshops taught on college essays, sat, etc.

Be sure to register at www.fcpscollegefairs.com or www.gotocollegefairs.com before going to any, in order to make the event as efficient as possible. Make a list of questions you have before actually heading to a particular booth. Also keep in mind and mark down the colleges and universities that you take a particular interest in, on the map it list of universities represented in the event.
