Georgetown University rests near the Potomac river with the attraction for students who are seeking an urban setting. However, this school is known to be very selective with almost 80 percent of students being turned down. This is a private college and it has a Roman Catholic religious association. More than half the classroom sizes don’t peak 20 students. Approximately 55.5 percent are males and 44.5 percent are females. Like many universities, there is 24 hour patrol, and strict access to dorms. Services include tutoring and a women’s service. However, no health insurance is offered in Georgetown University. They do offer financial services for those who seek and almost everyone gets the help they need to attend. This is a tough school and a good work ethic will be needed to be admitted.
