New online gear store
AHS has a new online gear store with adult and children clothing, accessories, and hundreds of design options, as well as customization features for all items. The store offers high-end brands like Nike, Lululemon, Under Armour, Carhartt, and more.
While these brand-name items may be on the pricier side, something the Athletics Departmen
t cannot control, customers can enjoy the 20% discount that will be applied to all orders until Jan. 1.
These purchases benefit the Athletics Department through a rewards program they have with BSN Sports. As a result, a percentage of the profit from each purchase is put towards buying new uniforms and equipment for the sports programs.

“Baskets for Babies”
Senior Tyson Perkins was recently featured on Good Morning Washington (12/2), with his younger brother MJ and the organizer of Kids Give Back, Denise Gavilan, to share about the non-profit organization’s annual holiday event “Baskets for Babies.”
The event, held on Dec. 7 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, had community members creating almost 100 decorated baskets with essential baby supplies for mothers in need.
Perkins loves to support his community and has been helping with the program since 2021. He, along with his family, were ecstatic and grateful for his opportunity to be invited on the segment by Gavilan, who recognized his passion and dedication for the initiative.
He is hopeful that his appearance will urge other teens to follow in his footsteps and help their communities.

The Culinary Program whipped up an exciting lineup of holiday treats that teachers didn’t want to miss!
This year, they enjoyed chocolate peppermint brownie, chocolate walnut fudge, peanut butter fudge, Kiss cookies, pecan pralines, pizzelles, iced vanilla cut outs, gingerbread cookies and more!
These handmade confections were perfect for gifting, sharing, or savoring at home. The culinary students put their heart and sweat into everything from the menu.
