Annandale’s very own Dunkin’ Donuts has been open for almost a month now.
Conveniently located at 7025 Columbia Pike, only six minutes from the high school. This coffee spot is open from 5 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily and offers a new place for students to get breakfast on their way to school.
“I get coffee from Starbucks or other coffee shops about 3-4 times a week so the new Dunkin adds a new closer spot for coffee,” junior Sophia Sewall said.
The modernly designed small walk-in-shop has an ambient and cozy feel, free Wi-Fi, and even outdoor seating options for those who want to enjoy their morning sips in the sun!
According to FFX Now, the new Dunkin’ is staffed with approximately fifteen employees, making for fast and quality service.
“I ordered right away and they made it within two minutes. I had ordered an iced coffee with crème and it was very good and certainly not creek water,” Sewall said.
While the closest Starbucks to AHS is similar in distance, the new Dunkin’ provides a closer option for students depending on where they live.
“I will continue going. Most Dunkin’s Before this one opened weren’t exactly that close to me so the new one makes it a lot more convenient,” Sewall said.
Be sure to stop by this new cafe as their menu has something for everyone.
Try out some of their seasonal Halloween menu items such as the Potion Iced Macchiato, a lovely marshmallow and ube espresso, their signature Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte, which speaks for itself, or their classic glazed pumpkin cake donut, all of which are perfect for fall.
“I got the Iced Pumpkin Chai Latte and it was very good, I prefer it over the Starbucks Pumpkin Chai,” junior Cole Cardwell said. “I think a lot more people should go to Dunkin’ in the mornings because they have donuts!” he added.
