PTSA Launches Mulch Madness
One of the PTSA’s most critical annual fundraisers, the Mulch Sale, has opened with high hopes for the 2023 cycle.
The Mulch Sale is an awesome opportunity for members of the AHS community to take care of the yard while simultaneously contributing to the PTSA.
The PTSA works extremely hard throughout the school and calendar years to ensure sufficient funding and fundraising in an effort to support various causes, events, or programs that are special and unique to the AHS community.
“Mulch Madness is the PTSA’s biggest fundraiser. The proceeds go to support college scholarships for Annandale seniors and the PTSA’s All Night Graduation Celebration (ANGC). ANGC provides a fun, safe, alcohol and drug-free, all night graduation celebration for our seniors,” PTSA president Annamaria Nields said.
Each bag of mulch covers approximately three cubic feet, weighs 50 lbs, and is double-shredded hardwood that is a natural dark brown color, perfect for any yard or lawn area.
Bags can be either picked up at AHS or delivered to your residence, although deliveries have a 10 bag minimum and the residence must be within five miles of AHS.
Each bag purchased for delivery costs $6.50 and bags purchased for pick-up cost $5.50 per bag.
Orders can be placed through Feb. 28 at https://annandalehsptsa.membershiptoolkit.com/packet/28267505
All orders will be available for pick-up on Sat., March 11 from 8 a.m.–12 p.m. in the back parking lot of AHS, with delivery orders being completed by the boys lacrosse team during this time as well.
