Veterans day is held on the eleventh of November, in remembrance of those who fought for our country. This day is also known as Armistice day, commemorating the end of World War I. Local stores and business’ close at earlier hours, and those who work in government are off, and MOST schools are closed. But we are not. For a day that is held for honoring those brave men and women who fought for our country, we are one of the few schools that are open on this infamous day.
