Winter sports hold Meet the Coach Night
Winter sports’ Meet the Coach Night took place on November 21st at 6:30 pm in the cafeteria. Meet the Coach Night is a great opportunity for parents to be more involved in their child’s interest in their sports team.
Coaches will talk to their athletes parents about events happening during the season. Coaches are eager to speak to parents and get to know the families of the students that they will be training with for the next couple months.
Meet the Coach Night is an amazing opportunity for parents to meet their children’s coaches and learn more about what their kids will be doing for the next few months. It is also an opportunity for coaches to talk to parents and recruit volunteers.
Coaches are always looking for volunteers to help out the team, such as making sure equipment is there, managing the snacks, sending group messages about practices/ games, and much more.
“Meet the Coach Night was a great opportunity for my mom to meet the coach and learn more about my sport and team,” freshman Ruftana Beyene, who runs for track, said. “I’ll be sure to go next year.”
