Where do AHS students get news from
Back in the days student got their news from TV, radio or newspapers. Nowadays students get their news from social media like Snapchat, Instagram, and Twitter.
Few students even read the newspaper and get it from the tv.
Most students aren’t aware of what’s going on in the world because they don’t use these resources or can’t access them.
Students don’t take up their time to search up or look at the news because they think it’s an adult thing to do or maybe it’s not in their best interest to care about the news. They don’t think it really important or necessary.
The kind of news they get on social media isn’t enough and doesn’t get them informed fully what’s going on out in the world.
“I don’t read or watch the news more often but I think it’s important to keep up with the world and know your surroundings, I think students should take more interest in news because it’s an important tool or information to have” Freshman Sahra Omar said.
In general, AHS student gets their news from Social media and some don’t because they’re more focused on their entertainment and games.
