NEHS accepting applications
National English Honor Society is now accepting applications for future members.
Juniors and seniors with a ‘passion for English studies’ can fill out the application, which includes an essay and a recommendation from an English teacher, in order to join the club.
Due on Sept. 20, applications can be picked up and turned in outside of rooms 267 and 269B.
This years officers are aiming to make the club more interesting for students so that more people can join and the club can have a bigger impact on the school.
“We are working on activities like planning a book club so that we can make the honors society more fun and interactive for the members,” NEHS secretary Kani Khaled.
Prospective applicants should contact co-sponsors and English teachers McClain Herman and Sasha Duran if they have any questions.
