Broadway Desserts
It’s lights, camera, action on the Watson Auditorium stage this Friday and Saturday as the Annandale choral department performs their popular show, Broadway Desserts. The curtains for this cabaret-style production will lift at 7 p.m. both nights.
The choir will perform a variety of songs to regale their audience; featuring some songs from classical movies like West Side Story, Godspell and Hairspray.
Tickets are will be for sale this week, from Jan. 24 to Jan. 26, for $10 during all lunches and will be $15 at the door. You can also purchase tickets from a choir student for $10. The show lives up to the name and sweet treats will be sold in the lobby outside the auditorium.
“I love Broadway Desserts because it’s dinner and a show,” senior Sabrina Huynh said, “it doesn’t get much better than that.”
For the added cherry on top, all the funds that are made during the show will go toward helping the chorus students pay for their spring trip to Orlando, Florida.
Broadway Desserts is fun for all ages so be sure to come out and have a good time with friends and family while enjoying delicious desserts and a good show.
