The interest meeting for this year’s Mr. Annandale will be on Wed., Jan. 11th, in room 210 right after school. Attending the interest meeting is required in order to participate, along with being a male junior or senior. Participants are chosen on a first come, first serve basis. Mr. Annandale is a pageant for guys that has been going on here since 2009. It was created by Leadership and Marketing students to get guys more involved in school events.

10-12 juniors and seniors will compete for 7 titles exhibiting their talent: Mr. Intelligence, Mr. Strength, Mr. Elegance, Mr. Talent, Mr. Spirit, Fan Favorite and the coveted Mr. Annandale. Contestants will perform 2-5 minute acts for each section. Members of the audience will be able to vote by texting a phone number, along with the teacher judges.
Although the pageant is sponsored by Leadership, it’s really the contestants that decide how the pageant turns out. If you’re interested in this Annandale tradition, please come to room 210 on Wednesday to pick up a packet, which will be due January 18th. The actual pageant will take place on February 24th.
