Back to school night is a great opportunity for teachers to explain and discuss what they will be covering this new school year and also an excellent opportunity for parents to meet with each teacher and to know all about the new classes and to ask questions that they have.This reunion will be on thursday september 15 at 7:00pm,each class visit will be 15 minutes and every teacher have the opportunity to talk with the parents.

Mr Roberto Obando told us that this is a great opportunity to “talk about what they will cover this year” and to “answer every question that they have”.

Every teacher has their own way to present the information to the parents,it depends on the class that they are taking and the level that the student is in.

Obando told us his way that he will present on thursday, he will ”show his curriculum,the way that he will grade this year, what he will teach this year in his honors class”.

Every teacher will have 15 minutes to be able to explain to the parents their curriculum but do they have enough time to tell what they will do this year?, Obando told us that he think “is enough time to show to the parents what the teacher will do this new school year” and also that  “the syllabus is a good way to show what we didn’t talk in the reunion”.

This is a really good opportunity for every parent to inform themselves about what their sons are taking this year and a way to help them if they have any difficulty in their class,this reunion is only once every school year;We ask Mr Obando about the idea of having reunions every quarter to talk about the progress and what they will do the next quarter but he thinks is not necessary.

He told us that “with the current online tools that are available is not necessary but if they have any questions or concerns the parents can arrange a reunion to talk about it”.

Back to school night is a good opportunity to know what your teachers will cover this year,is a good chance for your teachers to meet your parents and we hoped that you will assist this Thursday september 15 at 7:00pm.
