Upcoming PSAT Day
Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will participate in PSAT day Oct. 19, and will be dismissed from school at 11 a.m.
Students look forward to the early dismissal, but are worried for the PSAT they have to take because it resembles the first step they have to take in preparation for senior year.
Attendance will not be taken for seniors, but for those who show, they will be expected to report to the cafeteria to donate non perishable food items.
“Seniors come help our community, please come to school from 9-11 a.m. PSAT day with non perishable food items to help stock pantries for our community” said Assistant Principal Donna Higgins. Seniors are able to “receive service credit hours for donating”.
If they have not completed their community service hours, this is a quick and easy way to receive those hours to graduate, or get extra hours to earn another chord to wear during their graduation.
