President Obama visit cancelled
President Obama’s visit to AHS was cancelled in light of the funeral for Shimon Peres Sept. 30.
Obama’s visit, concerning higher education and the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, was set for that same day. Peres died Late Wednesday, and President Obama’s attendance to the funeral was affirmed Thursday.
No news of a permanent cancellation or rescheduling for the speech has been released.
