Annandale Marching Atoms holds fundraiser
The AHS marching atoms recently held a fundraiser, selling oranges, grapefruits, red or
white poinsettia, and for the first time green wreaths.
The band holds the same fundraiser annually but this year they’ve decided to add a new
item “green wreaths” just in time for the holidays. They plan to keep this fundraiser going every
year as as tradition.
The Grapefruit and Navel Oranges are available in two carton sizes while the Red or
White Poinsettias are offered in four sizes. Also available are the green wreaths, which are
offered in two sizes.
These items are available for to until November 6th, 2015 and it’s a great way to support
the AHS band program.
The fundraiser started last week and it is actually on a rather slow start.
“It’s only just started last week but so far, it hasn’t had many people contributing” said
AHS Band student Micheal Ryan.
As for the slow start our AHS marching atoms are working hard to fundraise.
“It’s going ok a couple of people managed to sell more than five items” said Jennifer
Salinas.
Hopefully within the next few days the fundraiser will improve and AHS band will be
able to raise funds for much needed equipment.
