Preview to Poe Middle School’s “10 ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse”
The end is near!
Are you prepared for the upcoming apocalypse?
“10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse” will be presented by the Poe Middle School Theatre Arts Department on November 21 to 23. Come see the strategies you can use when the Zombies arrive. Sure, you may know about Method #3 “Overwhelming Firepower” or Method #9 “Run Really Fast” but have you considered “Romancing the Zombies” or “Reasoning With the Zombies?” And some methods take time and planning, such as “Raise Genetically Modified Killer Dogs Which Can Attack and Kill Zombies.” It is not too early to start training your Chihuahuas.
Set in a post-apocalyptic urban district, this one-act comedy by playwright Don Zolidis features a couple of narrators, two groups of survivors, and of course….zombies. The “Walking Dead” on the Poe stage are not too scary for young or old, and promise a laugh or two. Tickets are $5 for students and $6 for adults, and will be sold at the door, with performances on Thursday Nov 21 and Friday Nov 22 at 7p.m. and a Saturday matinee at 2p.m. See you there…if you dare!
