Students get pictures taken

Seniors get their portraits taken in Clausen Hall during their scheduled time slot.

Hair? Check. Makeup? Check.

From Sept 9 through 13, Seniors and underclassman have been getting their pictures taken for the yearbook, as well as personal photos that are an important part of the senior photo shoot. The scheduled photo shoot allows seniors to not only complete their yearbook picture, but to also pose with a Cap and Gown as well as various outfits of choice for an additional price.

While underclassmen fill the auditorium during their english classes to complete their photos, seniors have been preparing for their close-ups after being given a scheduled time to enter Clausen Hall.

“It’s my last year, I want to look good,” senior Michael Darden said.

Wile some seniors just want to look their best, others see this as an important time in their lives to commemorate.

“It’s important because they’re memories,” Samee said. “It’s the last picture you’ll take in high school.”

Some students appear to be hopeful towards how their pictures will turn out, but those underclassmen who do not get to look at their picture before it is printed on the Student ID are concerned.

“I’m worried about how my pictures are going to turn about,” junior Lee Hayes said. “I totally forgot about them this morning when I was getting ready and for some reason my school pictures always turn out bad.”

All Seniors who have not yet  taken their senior pictures should look outside Room 263 to see their scheduled time. Any seniors that want to re-take their pictures, or who missed their scheduled time slot, should call Lifetouch to reschedule. All underclassmen will have their yearbook pictures taken during their English classes.
