A Look Into Homecoming Spirit Week 2013
Annandale held its annual spirit week on the week of October 15th in honor of the homecoming celebration.
“I think our school spirit days are really good this year,” junior Beza Yosef said. “Because they’re not that hard to follow and everybody can participate.”
Following Tropical Tuesday, Roll out of Bed Wednesday, and Switcharoo Thursday, the traditional Atomic Day took place on Friday, with freshmen wearing red, sophomores wearing white, juniors wearing face paint, and seniors in their togas.
“I don’t think our school has a lot of spirit at the football games,” sophomore Julie Swenton said. “A lot of people don’t follow the blackout or the redout, and they just go there to talk to their friends and they’re not all cheering to support the football team.”
