The new queen of rap? Rapper Cardi B has listeners wondering if she has fully taken over the rap game. Her hypnotic new song “Money” has received glowing reviews and feedback.

Before fame, Cardi was well-known on Instagram for her humor, no-filter attitude and ambition to make it big. The rapper is also well known for starring on VH1s reality T.V. series, “Love and Hip Hop New York” and her former work as an exotic dancer.

A lot has been happening with the rapper from her dropping her new chart-topping debut album “Invasion of Privacy” back in April, to having a baby with her husband, Migos star, Offset. In addition, Cardi B has had an ongoing feud, and even a physical altercation with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj.

Nevertheless, Cardi B proves she is still working as hard as ever with her new song “Money”.

“Her new song is going to be another hit,” sophomore Taylor Poe said. “Cardi B continues to shock the world with her outstanding rhymes, struggles, and how her life has changed since then.” 

Cardi B announced the song would be released on Oct. 25, but surprisingly released the song two days earlier on Oct. 23 due to an apparent leak.

“I really like the new song,” sophomore Mariam Sesay said. “She always comes out with bomb music and her songs just get better every time.”
