The “greatest fashion show in the whole world” aired Dec. 8 on CBS. Filmed in New York, the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show started at 10pm EST but led with a pre show at 9pm EST.

Forty-four models including best friends Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid for the first time strut their stuff alongside the well known Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima. Angel Lily Aldridge had the honor of wearing the 2015 Fantasy Bra which consisted of 6,500 gems valued at $2M.

This year’s performers were Selena Gomez, the Weeknd and Ellie Goulding who all performed wonderfully. Junior Nora Hasrat was especially excited to watch the show because “my mans the Weeknd was performing and Gigi Hadid was an angel and she’s gorgeous.”

The beautiful angels and the eye-catching costumes are what makes this fashion show at the top of the list. Several angels said they keep that stunning body by working out every day but “this is unrealistic amongst most girls,” junior Maddy McCrossin said. “Most girls fantasize about having a VS model’s body (I know I do) because they’re considered perfection. Models make so much money for just looking good, how great is that? The truth is women become insecure after watching the show because not everyone is 5’9 and super skinny.”

People like P.E. teacher Cragin Winkler don’t watch the show because “it’s stupid. I don’t care for lingerie and I would rather watch something else. Plus it reported having the lowest amount of views this year. People just didn’t watch it.”

On the other hand, many enjoyed the 2015 show. Besides the beautiful lingerie, the amazing performances including Selena Gomez’s new song “Hands To Myself” truly got the crowd rowled up. Hopefully next year’s show will top this one!
