Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Review
Jay Leno had been the host of The Tonight Show since 1992 but with his recent leaving, a highly anticipated successor has taken over. Jimmy Fallon has brought The Tonight Show back to it’s original studio at the Rockefeller Center, in the heart of New York City.
Fallon’s first week was a success and he has already captured the hearts of viewers all over the globe. With his originality and spare-no-one sense of humor, late night television has now discovered it’s best host.
Jimmy Fallon first found fame on Saturday Night Live in the mid 90s and early 2000s. in 2009, he became the host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and has since earned his place as America’s favorite talk show host.
He connects with fans and social media and even reads viewers’ tweets on the show in a segment previously called “Late Night Hashtags”.
“He’s so involved with viewers,” junior Rachael Allshouse said, “and they can actually interact with him and the show.”
Fallon expressed his gratitude to his fans and to everyone involved in giving him the opportunity to host The Tonight Show on his emotional final episode of Late Night. “We’re bringing it back to New York,” he said. “It hasn’t been here for over 40 years… Even if I wasn’t part of this, it would be cool.”
Needless to say, Fallon and everyone at NBC are proud of the change.
