5 different ways to stay creative
Whether it’s an artistic block or a lack of creativity, there are many ways to still incorporate creativity and different forms of art into your day-to-day life.
1 START A NEW HOBBY
There are many different artistic hobbies that could spark new ideas and get you creating. Consider taking up crocheting or knitting. There are plenty of books or tutorials online that can teach you the stitching step by step. Consider checking out YouTube tutorials for trendy crochet projects that show you a visual tutorial step by step. If crocheting or knitting isn’t your style there are plenty of new hobbies to start. Some ideas could be writing, drawing, graphic design, baking, photography, or anything that sparks your interests.
2 USE A JOURNAL
A Journal can be used in many different ways. You could use it to write about your day or your thoughts, use it as an agenda to have more creative control over your schedule or to keep photos and look back
on your favorite memories
3 LISTEN TO MUSIC
listening to your favorite music is known to release serotonin which is a great way to jumpstart thinking creatively. Music can help not only boating your serotonin and creativity but also can help you stay focused and become more productive.
4 GO ON A WALK
Going on even as short as a 15-minute walk according to a Stanford study can boost creativity levels by 60%. Taking a break from whatever you’re doing and doing on a walk breeds new innovative ideas and is known to also boost productivity. Walking not only benefits your mental health but your physical health as well.
5 STRAY AWAY FROM A DAILY ROUNTINE
While for some having a day-to-day routine that looks the exact same every day can be very beneficial providing stability in their routine But for some getting caught up in the same loop of the same routine can be very boring and repetitive, so in many cases breaking the routine or evenly slightly changing it up can create new ideas and help you stay away from the repetitiveness of the same daily activities. Even as little as changing a few things in your routine could spark up new ideas and get you out of an artistic block.
