“You will start noticing artwork all around the school if you haven’t already. several pieces are sculptures and rather fragile. I’m kindly requesting your help and support in teaching our students to admire and respect the works they see all around, by not touching, hitting, pocking, or manipulating any of them in any way. All sculptures are based on the character pillars the students were taught not long ago in their W4s. Plaques were created by the computer graphics students to describe them. Mosaics and heraldic shields represent the Roman and Renaissance Art periods studied. All these artworks are a wonderful way to show off our school and the great work we all do to shape tomorrow’s citizens. Please join us in helping preserve it.”

Here is a quick message from AHS art teacher Jacqueline Pappas informing students and teachers to be respectful and courteous of these artworks.
