TikTok has rapidly grown into a platform that allows artists to get their music heard and even go viral. The app has people all around the world singing and dancing to music. This is a list of ten of the most popular songs that are trending on TikTok.

Many people are posting videos of themselves getting ready or showing off their cool outfits to the song Drip Like Me by Voochie P and it is currently the most trending song on TikTok.

Hit the Quan by I love Memphis has led to a viral dance challenge, and tends to be a bit nostalgic for many people.

“It brings back so many memories from a few years ago,” freshman Arlet Lopez-Cardozo said.

Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne has regained popularity on TikTok, which is probably because of its memorable lyrics.

“This is actually one of my favorite songs right now. I keep hearing it on TikTok so it gets stuck in my head,” Lopez said.

“This song is full of lots of energy and the lyrics are amusing. I can see why so many people dance to it on TikTok. It’s really upbeat,” Nathan Reed said. In fact, New Thang by Redfoo is currently the fourth trending song on Tiktok and has over 2.8 million TikToks using the audio.

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!! by Vengaboys has been playing non-stop for a while now. In fact, many people can’t seem to get it out of their heads.

“I recommend this song if you like upbeat fun music and it’s really catchy,” freshman Athena Zhou said.

So many of Pop Smoke’s songs have gone viral on TikTok, some of his most popular songs on TikTok include “Dior” and “Mood Swings.” Currently, his song, “What you know bout love” is the sixth most trending song on the app.

This is a rather older song but has somehow managed to make it to the seventh most trending song and is relatively relaxing.

“It actually has such a smooth and mellow harmony that I feel like I could listen to it all day or when I’m doing my work,“ Reed said, as he was referring to the song Dreams by Fleetwood Mac (2004 remaster.)

“It’s really catchy and easy to vibe to,” Lopez said.

Capitalize off Pain is currently Big $tunt’s most successful song, it first got attention through TikTok and is now eighth in trending. “I even added it to my playlist.”

“After hearing this song it kind of reminded me of an intro to a sports game or a high school movie with the popular kid driving in a convertible,” said Lopez. White Walls by Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis (feat. ScHoolboy Q) which although is somewhat of a throwback, turns out to be favored amongst many. “I don’t typically care for this type of music but this one has a killer chorus.”

This song seems to have gotten many people’s attention as it has been repeatedly used. “I don’t really listen to music unless I find it on TikTok, and when I heard this song while I was scrolling through my for you page and I thought it sounded cool,” Zhou said. The live version of Heart Of Glass by Miley Cyrus from the iHeart Music Festival is actually 10th in trending on TikTok.
